What data we process and why

Visiting the website

The website runs on Cloudflare servers (Cloudflare Pages). Every time you visit, Cloudflare automatically processes technical data: your IP address, information about your browser and device, the address of the page you visit and the date and time of the request. This is needed to display the website and protect it from abuse. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running the website securely (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Visit statistics

We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics. This tool does not use cookies and does not build user profiles; we only see aggregated data, such as the number of visits, the most viewed pages, the browser type and country. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in improving the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

E-mails

If you write to info@daldallagelato.pl, we process your e-mail address, the content of your message and any data you include in it (for example the date, venue and number of guests when asking about the cart). We do this to reply and prepare an offer. Legal basis: steps taken before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) or our legitimate interest in handling correspondence (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Phone calls

If you call 533 985 726, we process your phone number and the information you give us during the call, to answer your question or take an order, for example for a cake. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR.

Job applications

If you send us your CV, we process the data in your application documents to run the recruitment. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR; any data beyond what the law requires is processed on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time.

Cookies

We do not use cookies for statistics, advertising or tracking. We have no advertising pixels or embedded maps, and our fonts are loaded from our own server. That is why there is no cookie banner on this website.

If needed, Cloudflare may set a technical cookie used only to protect the website from bots (for example __cf_bm). It is not used for tracking.

Links to other services

The website links to the Wolt and Glovo delivery apps, to Instagram and to Google Maps (directions to the shop). We do not embed these services, so we do not share any data with them until you click a link. Once you go to them, their own privacy rules apply. Delivery orders and payments are handled by the app you choose.

Who we share data with

Data may be processed on our behalf by IT service providers: Cloudflare (hosting and statistics) and our e-mail provider. Cloudflare may process data outside the European Economic Area; this is based on the safeguards provided for in the GDPR, such as standard contractual clauses. Details: Cloudflare privacy policy.

How long we keep data

• Correspondence and information from calls: for as long as needed to reply and fulfil the order, and then until any claims become time-barred.
• Application documents: until the recruitment ends, and longer only with your consent.
• Technical data and statistics: for the period set by Cloudflare.

Your rights

You have the right to:

• access your data and get a copy of it,
• have your data corrected,
• request erasure or restriction of processing,
• data portability,
• object to processing based on our legitimate interest,
• withdraw your consent at any time (this does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing).

You can also lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes UODO, ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warszawa).

Providing data is voluntary, but without it we cannot reply to your message or take your order. We do not make automated decisions or use profiling.
